Las Vegas reporter Jeff Jarman found dead outside his home of stab wounds


The Las Vegas Review-Journal mourns the loss of one of its own.

Jeff German Over 30 years as a journalist He was found dead outside his home in Las Vegas on Saturday morning, the paper said. The newspaper said the German was found with a “stab wound”.

“The Review Journal family is devastated by the loss of Jeff,” said editor-in-chief Glenn Cook, according to the paper. “He was the gold standard in the news industry. It’s hard to imagine what Las Vegas would be like today if he hadn’t put a bright light in a dark place over the years.”

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) was called to the scene shortly after 10:30 am local time on Saturday. According to the department’s news release.

“Arriving police and medical personnel declared the victim dead at the scene,” the release said.

Police did not identify the Germans on their release, but said the “victim’s identity, cause and cause of death” would be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The LVMPD’s Homicide Division is investigating, the release said.
